The Seichi War-Bringer

This is a commissioned piece that I had done from for another fantasy themed MMORPG that my friends and I are trying to create, and I must say that he did an absolutely awesome job on this sketch! I'm hoping to commission him again for a colored version.

Seichi War-Bringer

From the beginning of the Four Wars, the Drum Masters of the Hiromori Mountains have opened their monasteries and have taught their secrets of their drumming techniques to those who pass their tests and are willing to open their minds and hearts to their teachings. The headmaster, Shingen Seichi, teaches his family’s sacred knowledge in order to help expand the dying art and establish other such monasteries within the vast lands of the Elder Nations that will stand even after he has long left this plane of existence.
In order for a candidate to become a Seichi War-Bringer, he is first taught its history and philosophies. One needs to understand that all power in life, no matter how big or how small, must move in some way or form and that movement beats to a very unique rhythm. Learning to respect and honor this force of movement is the first step; learning to wield this incredible power is the next. Once these initial steps have been mastered the candidate can then begin a path to true mastery of this art. The candidate goes from being just another Bard to a true Seichi War-Bringer, a wielder of the Raiden-ko or better known as “the Drums of Thunder”.
A master Seichi War-Bringer can truly be a terrible sight when he is in full execution of his Uragiri Kata or War Form. In this stance, the War-Bringer gathers and channels the energy through his Bachi-No-Ken or Short Thundering Stick, a pair of drumming sticks that the when created by the War-Bringer, is infused with his life essence. As he grows in experience so will his Bachi-No-Ken, it will become a direct reflection of his inner warrior spirit and enable him to focus and shape the life-energy more precisely and use it in even more effective ways. Later, when the War-Bringer becomes a true master of his art form he will be able to channel the spirits of War-Bringers long past and expand his power to an even greater extent. He will be able to call upon the forces of nature and unleash a powerful, raging storm on a clear day and cover entire battlefields with its full fury and wrath. When there are two or more Master War-Bringers on the same battlefield, they can combine their strengths and cause total and utter chaos on the battlefield for their enemies by summoning phantom warriors to cause confusion and disarray. - Cadence of War: Increases party members Attack Power by X%
- Cadence of Strife: Increases enemy spell casting time by X%
- Cadence of Panic: Increases enemy melee casting time by X%
- Cadence of Haste: Increases party members Spell Power by X%
- Spell: Thundercracker- Sends a beam of electricity down the battlefield; Silences enemy for X sec.; Additional Electrical Damage; Chance to knockback enemy for X amt of yd.
- Spell: Lightning Blast- A column of lighting blasted down from the heavens, sent by the Thunder God, Raiden; AoE blast spell
- Spell: Thunderstorm- Covers the field in a roaring thunderstorm reducing visibility by X%
- Spell: Summon Phantom Drummer I-VI
- Spell Sync: Fields of Chaos
